The lease specification for the Ross amphibian is based on the concept of 'pay by the hour'.

• The example illustrated is based on a 5000 hrs airframe lease agreed at a utilisation rate of 1000 hrs per year.
• The Lycoming TBO's are used as the basis for the powerplant lease.
• The engine replacement fund is a sinking fund designed to provide the downpayment for the first and second engine changes over the life of the airframe lease, and forms the third element of the hourly rate.
• Please note that changes to annual utilisation, finance charges, downpayment and guaranteed residual rates will materially alter the hourly charge.
